Howard & Jason Caldwell

Hawkeye Enterprises LLC is a raptor based organization started by the father-son team, Howard and Jason Caldwell.  Raptors can only be held under specific permitting.  Both Howard and Jason are licensed to possess and handle live birds of prey. Both are licensed Master Falconers, permitted since 1994. Aside from being falconers, they are also licensed raptor educators (founding Raptors Up Close in 2006), federal raptor banders, raptor propagators and permitted for abatement services with raptors. Their knowledge has also been a resource for raptor rehabilitation and raptor veterinarians.

Their combined skill and knowledge on raptors has made them sought after as authorities.  They have done programming for such events  as: The Smithsonian

Institute, Great American Outdoor Show, which is the largest hunting show in the United States, West Virginia’s Annual National Hunting and Fishing Days, the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, the federal National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV, and numerous other museums, societies, and educational venues. They have been published by several different raptor and conservation periodicals. They are proud members of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators, the North American Falconers Association, the Potomac Falconers Association and founding members of the West Virginia Falconry Club. This team provides over fifty years of combined raptor experience.
