Each fall Howard & Jason look forward to banding raptors headed south on migration.  Ministers by trade, they soak up God's great creation around them.  It is a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and be in wonder.  A day in the blind is always a highlight anticipating each and every bird they get a chance to net, band and then send on its way.  It is a time of excitement, fellowship & reflection.  Often a day on the ridge changes their perspective.  It is very therapeutic...

Jason's oldest son, James, has also become licensed to work with the raptor team, getting permitted in 2016.
